Random

There is an area close to me called Seohyun. My area is good, but this one is slightly better for nightlife as well as if you want to eat some food that's not Korean. They also have a few little stands that sell 'outfits' for dogs. They have stuffed animal dogs wearing most of the outfits, but sometimes, there are also real dogs. It took me a few seconds to realize that this dog was real, and then a few more seconds to feel really bad for it. Not bad enough to refrain from taking it's picture, though!

Also, when I moved back to Korea I stayed in a Love Motel for a few nights while my temporary apartment was getting ready. Not the orange, mirror paneled bed which is, yes, circular. You'll notice that there is a panel with buttons. I'm assume these make the bed vibrate or spin but I was too scared to check. You'll notice the chair in the corner. Use your imagination for what the purpose of that is. That's all I'll say about that. Except that I didn't sleep under the sheets. Good location, though!

Two Rim?

Not sure how clear that picture comes out. It's the sign for the bike shop under my school. It's called Two Rim and the picture is of a guy with his bare butt out walking with a little kid. I guess it's to show he has a good sense of humour, but I don't know what that has to do with bikes. There is another bike store around the corner and I wonder how many people opt to by bikes here as opposed to there based solely on the sign. Weird.

Fall, 2009

Well Fall has been very delayed this year in Korea. Up until last week it was normal to see people walking around in sandals and shorts. Today, though, I'm sitting inside my apartment, getting ready for work and it's raining outside. The weather is starting to cool, and this excites me not because I hate the hot weather, but because this means that Christmas is on the way! I give it a week before I start listening to only Christmas music and watching Christmas movies. Don't judge me, it makes me happy.

Thanksgiving went by with me barely even noticing, though coincidentally I ate some turkey slices on Monday. That was a sad excuse of a celebration.

Kids and school are good. Apartment and life in general is also good. Miss the lot of you.
