i'm back baby

so i'm back but it definitely wasn't easy. due to severe thunderstorms in detroit i was forced to take a later plane on a different airline, leaving me with 12 hours to kill at Pearson. it was awful to say the least but thankfully i met some cool people (see picture below) who helped keep me from wanting to kill every person i saw. the new trip meant flying to alaska and then to hong kong finishing in seoul. all in all i was travelling for about 40 hours. if asked from now on i will always say the DESTINATION is way more enjoyable than the journey.

left to right: Micheal, Jenny, Mike. Michael was trying to get to his sister who was staying in Japan and then heading home to Taiwan. Mike was also trying to get to Taiwan. Airports aren't the greatest places to hang out with the exception of the new one in hong kong. pretty impressive i must say. i have heard that it's the largest enclosed structure in the world.

the trip home was good. i didn't see as many people as last year, it's so hard getting around but it was nice to see the people that i did. BIG thanks to russ for letting me (as if he had a choice) stay at his place for a whole week.
there's the handsome guy right there.

my meg.
blake and i.
kincardine boardwalk.
lighthouse
harbour.
lila and i in the tdot.

i think if it weren't for the horrible jet lag i experience going home i would go more often. over a week of recovery time is LAME. i didn't even have it when i got back to korea. ah well.

see you next year.
